Kayla Koski

Attorney

Kayla Koski is an attorney with Vanguard Attorneys, where she represents individuals and families in personal injury cases across Tampa Bay. From the very start of her legal career, Kayla has been dedicated to helping people navigate difficult situations, whether in the courtroom, during negotiations, or through compassionate client advocacy.

During law school at Stetson University College of Law, Kayla quickly stood out as a strong trial advocate. She was a finalist in Stetson’s 1L Mock Trial Competition and went on to serve as a member of Stetson’s nationally recognized Mock Trial Team.

Before becoming an attorney, Kayla gained diverse experience working in both private law firms and public service. She clerked with multiple Tampa Bay law firms, including Vanguard Attorneys, where she assisted on a wide range of personal injury matters—from drafting motions and pleadings to supporting attorneys in depositions and trials. She also worked with the Office of the State Attorney for Florida’s 13th Circuit, and gained additional experience in immigration law and pro bono work with Bay Area Legal Services.

Kayla earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Political Science, from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. While in undergrad, she held leadership roles in both Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and Delta Delta Delta Sorority.

In addition to her legal training, Kayla is conversational in American Sign Language, allowing her to connect with and advocate for clients in the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Outside of the office, Kayla enjoys staying active in the Tampa Bay community and spending time with family and friends. In addition, Kayla serves as a mentor in Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, reflecting her commitment to leadership and helping others succeed.
